Since the start of this season ive been using PowerPro braided 30lb and really liked the proformence of the "superline" I dont seem to get any of the birdsnests that I got with heavy monos, ( I use spinning reels BTW) Ive also been able to pull in tress with the stuff. After gettin some free suffix 20 lb test line from the tourney, and a good report from another angler Ive respooled with the Suffix brand Braided and have been very pleased, seems to nick up less than powerpro and is smoother on the reel in. I use the Mono I got free as a leader which makes it easier to pull off of snags. Its a great product. _________________ Baitcasters are junk! |

I like the Sufix mono green and orange for the blacklight. No complaints from me so far... All my rigs include swivels, and line twist hasn't been an issue.
For Alum and Erie I'll try the Sufix braid next time I spool up new line. Currently I'm using Power Pro and Fireline... I don't trust any mono against those zebra mussels. I've lost way too many rigs and fish. |
