Mike Hall won a nice Classic Destiny Custom Rod this year by bringing in the bigggest catfish on the NEOCATS Trail. Mike caught a 20# 11oz Flathead at Shreve Lake.....congrats. Mike and Jeff also took 3rd placce at our Classic at Spencer Lake with at 2-day total of 49# 4 oz.....also congrats to you both.
Mike, have you had a chance to try out the new rod yet? _________________ Northeast Ohio Catfish Angler's Tournament Series

Well, I haven't been on in ages. I pretty much packed up the boat after the NEOCATS championship and pulled out the compoud bow for deer season. I also got engaged in December, so it has been pretty crazy.
I kinda dedicate the months in between hunting and fishing to the fiance. That way she doesn't give me too much flack when fishing season rolls around, LOL!
I pulled out the new rod and stopped by the bait store to look at reals today. I can't wait to try it out. Not really sure how heavy of reel I want to get for it though. I am thinking about another Diawa Millionaire. I really like those reals.
See you guys onthe water soon! |
