My son, Aaron (cats-n-carp) won a fishing trip with Tim Hagan on the Potomac River, just south of DC. We went out with Tim early on Tuesday morning and fished until 4pm. We caught over 20 fish, most of them were 18 to 25 pounds. My largest was 28# and Aaron caught a 31# and a 34#.
Here is his 34# and he doubled on twin 20#'s.
All Blue Cats. We had a blast.

Man thats awesome, Those are some Pigs, your boy musta been going nuts catching a 34#, I know I woulda been. Thanks for sharing, I was just reading about your trip last year and was going to ask, what that trip runs? I paid over 400$ to fish with Dale Broughton down on the Ohio last year and was severly dissapointed, this guy looks as he really knows what hes doing. Again awesome fish and Ill see you and the new rig on the 5th. _________________ Baitcasters are junk! |

I have to work on the 5th, but I will make to several tourneys this year. I see you sometime. Thanks for the comments.
Last year, Tim charged around $300. I don't know if he has raised it this year. He has a new boat so there's more room. Check him out at www.timhaganoutdoors.com or he gives away a trip a month on www.thecatfishnation.com
We were fishing on the same spot a guy caught the new Maryland State record Blue Cat. 67#, we went and saw here at the Baltimore Bass Pro Shop, She's huge. There's a whole story and pics on Catfish Nation. |

You've got that right, Doc. He's planning trips to the Ohio River, Thanks to your pictures and website.
He's still looking for his first Flathead. I think that would be a bigger fight than these Blues. They didn't fight much until they got to the boat, then Tim scooped them up in the net. _________________ www.thecatfishnation.com |
