Does anyone know where I can get some shad around Columbus and is willing to let me in on a spot? I usually get them down home in SE Ohio but I will not be able to drive home for a while. I usually use a cast net or umbrella net. Any suggestions on where to look?

Wish I could be of help. I am planning to try and get out this weekend on Oshay, but I haven't been ot for a while. We were netting lots at Rocky Fork last weekdn in about 12ft of water. They were about 4-6ft deep. I am not sure if you are allowed to net below the dams on Oshay or Griggs, but imagine you could get plenty there. If cast netting from shore, I always try the bridge above twin lakes. I have also heard that below the Greenlawn dam downtown is good. Hoep this helps.

I do when Im down south. TO my knowledge Skippys are only found on the lower portions of the Muskingum, Scioto and of course the Ohio.
