Was there a tournament that night?
Any results been 2 weeks?

Hey Doc,

Dave and I were finally back in the money. We were fortunate enough to take first and big fish. I think our total weight was 46lbs with a 11.9 big fish. Second was somewhere around 35lbs.

Most of the fish were taken up north. Only 8 or 9 teams showed up. Beautiful night, maybe Fathers Day weekend had something to do with the low turnout.

Next one is at Hoover on the 18th of this month. I think I read where you took forth in a recent large Indiana Tourney, congrats.

Rick,
great job on the 1st place finish and big fish, we were in Indiana during this tournament so that is why we were not there, good creel of fish for the North end, not shabby at all, did you have current up there? Won't be able to come back again till the championships and with it being a 7pm till7am not sure if I'll make it to it, that's a long time on the water for Oshay.

The current was the key as you already know. We had checked the USGS stream guage website the day of the tourney and decided to change our game plan at the last minute. We had established a milk run in an area south of the launch ramp where we did pretty well earlier in the week.

I have to give credit to my partner, he's the one who made the call to head north. You're right, 12 hours on O'shay is quite a long time but we'll be there. Not holding out to much hope for being in the money the 18th on Hoover. We're just not that familiar with the lake. Hit it last weekend with limited success. Probably try it again this weekend.
