Congarats to Hatfield/Kistler team - impressive catch from the bank!
Muskeye's 7.2 lb fish was looking good for awhile.
We had to go after more bait at 7:00 - not a good thing. I wonder if there's such a thing as a "trawling shad net"... I about threw my arm out of the socket.
Rick promised to practice throwing a net in his swimming pool. That should be a hoot to watch. I can picture his neighbors looking out their back windows and telling their kids " I don't know what he's got in there but you kids are not swimming in that pool" |

Nice work everyone. We were very happy to see so many new faces.
I don't think Kevin is giving himself enough credit for our big fish. I was standing at the front of the boat not paying attention when he noticed my bobber went down. He pretty much did it all. Gotta gove credit were credit is due. |

| Do not waste your money on the trawl net. I purchased one a few years back from cc and they are not worth the trouble. The only time it works for me is at summer at night when the shad are shallow and popping on the surface. More work than the cast net!!!! |
